Important Facts

A certified nursing assistant’s (CNA) main role is to provide basic care to patients, as well as to assist them in daily activities they might have trouble with on their own. In clinics and medical offices, CNAs also work with medical technology, like billing software, health information software and medical record charting software. This certification is necessary before you can apply to become a Patient Care Technician.
